Lead Pastors Adam & Ashlee Mesa
Since 2012, Pastor Adam, with the support of his wife Ashlee — a retired professional athlete with a master’s degree in leadership and coaching — has been a pivotal figure in our community. From overseeing children’s programs to youth and creative initiatives, Pastor Adam’s vibrant teachings and visionary outlook have significantly contributed to making our church a dynamic, multicultural, and intergenerational haven.
Our roots trace back to Easter 1994, starting with just 12 members in the Mesa family home in Fontana, CA. The swift growth we experienced, a testament to divine grace, soon led us from a modest school cafeteria to a bustling business park in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. This era of rapid expansion saw us grow into a congregation with five weekend services, eventually securing the entire 5.5-acre business park.
By 2007, our path had led us to a vast 30-acre campus in Rancho Cucamonga, becoming a launchpad for numerous global outreach initiatives, including orphanages across Africa, Brazil, Thailand, and Mexico. Our dedication to serving the community is also embodied by our Generosity Center, a significant food bank initiative located within our previous site.
2019 heralded the inception of our first Neighborhood Church in Pomona, CA — a milestone in our mission to broaden our horizons. This venture began modestly in a school cafeteria before finding a permanent home, setting a precedent for future expansions. Notably, 2024 marks the establishment of our second Neighborhood Church, Patria Corona, further fulfilling our divine mission to Seek the Lost, Teach the Found, and Send the Disciples.
As we commemorate 30 years of ministry in 2024, we embrace a future under Pastor Adam and Ashlee Mesa's guidance, filled with promise, growth, and continued dedication. Patria Church not only respects its origins as ALFC but also eagerly anticipates the opportunities that lie ahead.
Our rebranding journey brings us back to Ephesians 3:14-15, a scripture that resonates deeply with our ethos: "For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name." This scripture beautifully articulates Patria Church's calling—to foster a spiritual family bound by faith, where each person is valued and interconnected. This name change, while significant, is a reaffirmation of our essence. It underscores our perpetual commitment to being a sanctuary for all, driven by faith and unity. We are Patria: a community where belonging is universal, shaped by the love of our heavenly Father.
